Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) is a non-governmental organization that seeks to contribute to the social and economic development of the country, poverty eradication through development and harnessing of vocational skills, of private initiative and entrepreneurial spirt.
In the context of the new project, “Solutions for Youth to Advance (Solutions4YOUTH)”, funded by Austrian Development Agency (ADA), CEDA announces an open recruitment for the positions of Project Manager and Project Assistant.
The project is addressing disadvantages and needs of young people on the labour market of the Republic of Moldova, supporting them to gain relevant technical and vocational skills for decent jobs, as employees or entrepreneurs.
Project Duration: 01 May 2023 – 30 April 2027

The main responsibilities, qualification requirements and application procedures for each position are listed below.
Project Manager
Main role and responsibilities:
• Leading the proper implementation of all project activities
• Coordinating staff and internal resources
• Planning the project from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes
• Adapting the working tools and approaches as required
• Being responsible for planning, contracting, and managing project activities, analyzing/interpreting the M&E data, and supervising the proper collection
• Ensuring that work is completed according to the Project document and Grant Agreement, as well as provide timely reporting to Program Director
• Managing and coordinating the project team and ensure the quality of work
• Designing Scope of Work for experts/consultants, project team and Letters of Agreement with partner organizations, VET institutions and Gymnasiums
• Conducting annual evaluations with subordinates and coming up with proposals for capacity improvement/pay increase to the Program Director
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Representing the project in relevant meetings and fora
Job qualifications and requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management
• Graduate or post graduate degree in business administration, education, management or another relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in written and spoken Romanian and English language; good working knowledge of Russian.

Project Assistant
Main role and responsibilities:
• Performing technical duties related to monitoring and reporting on the Project and assist in implementation of projects activities
• Maintaining filing system for all program materials (including trainers’ reports, lists of trainings participants, acts of acceptance, etc.)
• Preparing briefing packets and agendas for visitors, meetings, and similar activities
• Keeping records of all information related to project for documentation, clarification and presentation to management
• Acting as an interpreter during the consultancy sessions (Rom/Rus) and will translate the working documents and training materials (Romanian/English and Russian)
• Carrying on all procurements activities and will keep project`s inventory, will manage the project files
• Drafting budgets of activities planned on a monthly basis
Job qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum one-year office experience in project assisting
• Good communication skills, fluency in written and spoken Romanian and English language; good working knowledge of Russian.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively.
