The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) organizes, in partnership with the Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA), the first edition of the Jobs Forum “A Successful Career at Home”. The event takes place on October 6-7, 2017 in Cahul and is organized with the support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
Thus, on the 6th of October 2017, at the “Bogdan Petriceicu Haşdeu” University of Cahul, the Round Table entitled “Youth Career Guidance – Challenges and Perspectives” will take place. The event will be attended by representatives of the educational institutions, the Cahul Education Department, the local public administration, economic agents, NGOs, and the media. Participants will share the career guidance experience and discuss future action in the field of youth career guidance.
Also, on October 7, 2017, the Regional Jobs Forum will continue at “B. P. Haşdeu ” University with an event dedicated to graduates from South Moldova, young people from centers of excellence and vocational schools in the region. More than 100 young people from the South of the country will participate in a training with businessmen and professionals in career development. Young people will also be involved in career guidance workshops and develop CV skills, salary negotiation, career advancement.
At the same time, a brochure for young people was published as part of the project, with the slogan “The Employee’s Future Guide: for a successful career at home”. The guide has been printed in 1000 copies and contains useful information about making a CV; the list of career fairs in the Republic of Moldova; employment sites, as well as job vacancy information registered at ANOFM. The Cahul event is the first of a wider range of similar manifestations. The Jobs Forum is to be organized later in Soroca (including the localities from the North region), but also in Chisinau (the localities from the Center region).
The Jobs Forum is organized under the “Re-Engineering Vocational Orientation and Career Counseling” (REVOCC), implemented by CEDA, in partnership with the National Agency for Employment and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and the financial support provided by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The project was carried out from December 2014 and continues until November 30, 2017. The goal of the project is to improve the image of secondary technical vocational education in the Republic of Moldova by re-conceptualizing vocational guidance and career counseling of secondary and secondary technical education students.
