Workshop “Implementing the REVOCC project for 2 years – achievements and perspectives”

Between April and May an external evaluation was carried out after 2 years of implementation of the REVOCC project. The project is implemented by CEDA in partnership with the National Agency for Employment, Ministry of Education and financed by the Austrian Development Agency.

For two years, several important things have been done:

Developed, approved and edited a curriculum for the module “Personal Development and Career Design” for grades V-XII
Elaborated and edited material for pupils and teachers in the module “Personal Development and Career Design” for grades V-XII, within the civic education discipline
Elaborated and edited material for the supervisors in the module “Personal Development and Career Design” for grades V-XII
Developed, approved and edited a curriculum for the separate module “Personal Development and Career Design” for students in vocational schools, colleges and centers of excellence
Elaborated and edited materials for pupils and teachers at the module “Personal Development and Career Design”
Elaborated and edited materials for the class masters at the module “Personal Development and Career Design”
Implementation of the module in all educational institutions in the study year 2016-2017:
– 86 vocational education institutions

– 1350 high schools and gymnasiums

Open and endowed 3 Career Guidance Centers in Soroca, Cahul and Chisinau
Formats the cadres from the Career Guidance Centers
Organized a summer school for 60 leading girls
Organized round tables, workshops, etc.
Guests of the event are representatives of ADA, ME, CEDA, NAE, educational directories, pilot school teachers, career guidance centers staff, etc.

The REVOCC project (“Re-Engineering Vocational Orientation and Career Counseling”) started in December 2014 and continues until November 30, 2017. It aims to improve the image of secondary technical vocational education in the Republic of Moldova by re-engineering professional orientation and career counseling of students in general secondary education and technical secondary education.

The objectives of the Project are:

Linking the education system to the labor market demand to increase employment and work productivity.
Development of the capacity of secondary and vocational technical secondary education institutions and of ANOFM to provide inclusive vocational guidance and career counseling services to young people to support their socio-economic and educational integration.
