Within the REVOCC project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency and implemented by CEDA in partnership with the Ministry of Education and ANOFM, on thursday, 12.03.2015, was held the meeting with representatives of ANOFM and Regional Employment Agencies of Chisinau, Cahul and Soroca.
The participants have discussed about the concept of future VOCC Centers that will be opened in the Regional Employment Agencies.
Regional Employment Agencies representatives mentioned what kind of services do they provide currently and also they reflected on new services, including who would be beneficiaries, what materials and methodological support would need the Centers for providing such services, who can be local partners in their activity.
A particular aspect that has been discussed is related to the collaboration of Regional Employment Agencies with educational institutions in the region.
Mrs. Sofia Shuleanschi, CEDAs executive director, noted about the role of VOCC Centers in correlating the education system with the demand of the labor market for increasing employment and labor productivity.
Mrs. Raisa Dogaru provided information about the experience of Austria, Japan, and Baltic States etc. in vocational orientation / career counseling.
This meeting has initiated the process of strengthening collaboration between CEDA, ANOFM and Regional Employment Agencies representatives.
