Training for VET teachers on the 5th Module of the “Basics of Entrepreneurship” subject

Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support, with the support of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, within the Moldova Employment and Entrepreneurship Education and Training Activity (MEEETA III) project, organized in the period of September 30 – October 03, 2015 the training for teachers on the 5th Module of the “Basics of Entrepreneurship”.

The group was established based on teachers’ applications consisting of writing a teaching project on the module “Business Planning”. Thus, the training was attended by 19 teachers who teach the subject “Basiscs of Entrepreneurship” from VET schools from Hînceşti, Căuşeni, Chişinău, Alexăndreni, Călăraşi, Leova, Criuleni, Bălţi, Ocniţa, Nisporeni. The purpose of the training was improving didactic competences and design skills of a teaching activities.

During 4 training days were held 16 sessions lasting 90 minutes as follows:

The purpose of business planning – 1 session
Business plan structure – 1 session
Marketing plan – 1 session
Operational plan – 1 session
Human resources – 1 session
The financial plan. Estimated expenditure required for starting a business – 1 session
The financing plan. Forecast of revenues and expenses – 2 sessions
Business plan presentation – 1 session
Sessions of designing model lesson – 5 sessions
Session of analysis and debriefing model lessons – 1 session
Presentation session of model lessons – 1 session
During training sessions all participants have deepen their knowledge on business planning and improved their teaching skills, later capitalized by writing a didactic project in groups. At the end of training, teachers presented the developed projects receiving suggestions for improvement and correction, thus having a finished product.

At the end of training there were obtained the following results:

-Participants have improved their knowledge in business planning;

-All teachers have developed skills of development and presentation of model lessons on the 5th module;

-During all training days participants have had the opportunity to address and receive the answer to all the questions that arose during the teaching process of the subject in schools and in simulated space of the training.

-At the end, teachers received complete didactic teaching projects on all lessons of the 5th module, which were developed within the course.
