Training of employees of 18 territorial employment units (STO)

Training of employees of 18 territorial employment units (STO)

A new training day for the employees from 18 Territorial Employment Subdivisions (STO) and a new challenge for participants discussing the first stages of “Planning / organizing a seminar, training and communication with different categories of beneficiaries”.

The participants have realized that the organization of a seminar requires going through certain stages for the successful development of the training. If we move directly to the presentation of the new information and avoid the first stage of community formation, we risk failure, and the beneficiaries leave the activity bored and without result. During today’s session, the participants learned several tools and exercises for forming the learning community, being urged to find those methods that will focus people’s attention on the topic to follow and will arouse the interest of the participants. Subsequently, these actions will influence the active participation of all beneficiaries.

Some participants also shared their personal experiences of organizing training activities. Together we analyzed those gaps or actions that led to the failure or success of the activity.

With small but determined steps, we hope that everything learned today will be used by STO employees to develop quality career guidance services, which will contribute to the employment of different categories of beneficiaries.

The event is organized within the Reengeneering Vocational Orientation and Career Counseling (REVOCC II) project, implemented by the Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) in partnership with the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) and with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) from the Austrian Development Cooperation Fund (ADC.)
