Training for teachers on the 5th Module of the “Basics of Entrepreneurship” subject

Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support, with the support of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, within the Moldova Employment and Entrepreneurship Education and Training Activity (MEEETA III) project, organizes in the period of June 9-13, 2015 the training for teachers on the 5th Module of the “Basics of Entrepreneurship” subject.

Agenda (available in romanian language) is attached.

Participants: Teachers of the “Basics of Entrepreneurship” subject, from VET schools
Training purpose: Improving teaching skills of the teaching staff on Module 5 (Business planning. Developing the skills of drafting the business plan) within the subject “Basics of Entrepreneurship”. Improving design skills and critical analysis of teaching activities.

Teachers involved in delivery of Basics of Entrepreneurship in conformity with the new curriculum in non-pilot VET schools starting with September 2013 have only participated in some very general training, so they urgently need up-grading of their skills.

Assuming that the new curriculum will be introduced in VET instituttions starting with September 2014, it looks like a rather great number of teachers are to be up-graded in Basics of Entrepreneurship delivery during a relatively short period of time. CEDA determined the training needs by each VET institution and based on the evaluation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, elaborated a detailed program.

Thus, first on country, CEDA organizes the training for teachers from VET institutions. Training group was formed based on the identified needs and teachers qualification.

Moldova Employment and Entrepreneurship Education and Training Activity (MEEETA III) project promotes economic empowerment of young people by facilitating the development of their job and income generation skills with special focus on entrepreneurship.
