Integration of Career Guidance Concept in the “Technological Education” discipline

The students from “Spiru Haret” Lyceum (Chisinau), guided by the teacher Tamara Suvorov, develop the application skills of technological processes in the specific case – embroidery. Each student has a professional dream that at first does not have much to do with embroidery technology – medicine, acting, journalism, science. The creative application by teachers of the didactic suggestions developed within the REVOCC project gives pupils the opportunity to extend the perception of the subject Technological Education. Guided by their teachers, they discover the tangencies between the skills and qualities developed at the technological education classes and the skills specific to the professions.

For example, girls from the VI form of “Spiru Haret” Lyceum have determined that they develop creativity, patience, accuracy, teamwork skills – qualities that are required in any profession.

Piloting is carried out within the framework of the REVOCC project, implemented by the Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova and with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
